This is an entertainment piece, no history, thus I took artistic license in a couple of areas. De Molay was burned on 18 March 1314, and it wasn't a Friday, however the effect I was seeking was better served by using the date in the article. we were of course meeting on Friday the 13th. I took other liberties with Philip IV's death. I can only find sources that say a single boar killed him and I can't find anything that said he called de Molay's name ... but then again, I can't find a source that says he didn't. Certainly he made some noise during the mauling, so I filled in the blank with my best guess.
